About
Pavlo Zvenyhorodskyi is a senior research analyst in the Technology and International Affairs Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. His work focuses on U.S.-China competition and engagement in artificial intelligence, as well as the role of emerging defense technologies in the war in Ukraine.
Prior to joining Carnegie, Pavlo served as a diplomat at the Embassy of Ukraine in Beijing and as an international cooperation consultant at the Office of the President of Ukraine. He holds a BA in Chinese Translation from Kyiv National Linguistic University, an MA in Chinese Studies from Tongji University in Shanghai, and an MS in Foreign Service with a concentration in Global Politics and Security from Georgetown University. Pavlo is fluent in Ukrainian, English, Mandarin Chinese, and Russian.
